About me
My Bright Side
I guide clever, sensitive and driven people who can carry a lot, but don’t want to lose themselves along the way.
As an entrepreneur, business engineer and co-founder of Bright Lights, I bring a broad background. I like to be where complexity, humanity and meaning meet: in personal leadership and in entrepreneurship alike.
Neurodiversity is also part of my personal life. After our son was diagnosed, my husband Peter and I wrote the book Great Minds Think Unalike. That story helped shape my conviction that people are so much more than the labels they’re given. I live and work with neurodivergence every day, and I consciously choose to start from strengths, possibilities and a positive view of being different. I don’t minimise the challenges, but I also see the talent and potential behind them.
In my coaching I combine sharp analysis with deep attention to what lives beneath the surface. Among other things, I work with systemic constellations and with focusing, a mindfulness-based approach, so that insight comes with movement in whatever is stuck.
My approach rests on a life lesson from Aristotle: knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom. The more deeply you explore yourself, the wider your view of the world around you becomes.
